It is essentially a plea for the importance of small things in human life, a promotion of the idea that the existence of a simple man (the writer himself, his wife, nephew, mother, etc.) finds his place in the universe by transient, insignificant facts. The book isn’t questioning on the two main themes of humanity, but is presented in an autobiographical form, a subjective paper, where personal reading notes are carefully positioned in order to promote a new type of literature. We believe that the author brings innovation in our literature through a new form of journal of ideas, the ephemeral diary. The work of Livius Ciocârlie knows three stages of creation, the latest one being mostly autobiographical.
